THE ROCKER

A man of precocious wisdom
Was Ronald Belford Scott.
Mr Double Entendre.
Mr Double Bourbon Shot.

A man so warm and friendly
A lyrical prodigy
Oozing stage presence
And sweating energy.

He started with The Spektors
For whom he played the drums.
Then The Valentines & Fraternity
'Til uniting with the Young's.

A partnership was born
AC/DC was their name
Australia's biggest export
Is what these lads became.

In February 1980
My world came tumbling down.
Bon had been out boozin
In London's Camden Town.

He died all alone that night
In the back seat of a car,
The greatest Rock 'N'Roll singer
A special Rock 'N' Roll star.

Bon will always be with me
In my memory he will stay.
Rest In Peace, Dear Bon,
Until we meet someday.
